Project Description
Ensuring there is adequate family-oriented and Inuit-purposed housing is a priority for the City of Iqaluit. Expanding Tundra Ridge is a viable option that was first investigated by the City in 2003. Since then, it has been the direction of City Council to direct development towards areas that have piped water and sewer services. Therefore, the Tundra Ridge Expansion project was paused.
The City is now, in 2024, re-exploring the Tundra Ridge Expansion project. City Council has welcomed the idea of a trucked services subdivision project. Your input now will help City Council make their final decision in July 2024.
